Emrah Kılıç, Artistic Director of Bosphorus Film Festival has stated the following regarding this year’s festival edition:

Due to Covid-19 pandemic, many festivals have either been postponed or delayed. Another alternative has been the online attendance of festivals at digital platforms. In accordance with the festival spirit, Bosphorus Film Festival naturally aims to realize a physical edition. Employing strict hygiene conditions and measures, we believe we will be able to have screenings in theatres by the end of October. While carrying Bosphorus Film Lab, the industry section of the festival to online platforms, at the same time we would like to organize physical activities. Talking about art and cinema, watching films in theatres and organizing a festival that will make ourselves feel better is of a special importance these days.
