Belçim Bilgin

Until 2001, she studied acting in Ankara Sanat Theatre. She discontinued her university education at Information Management Department of Hacettepe University and worked for the post-production of Hiner Saleem’s debut feature “Kilometre Zero”. She starred in Hany Abu-Assad’s “Unutma Beni İstanbul” and Ömer Faruk Sorak’s “Aşk Tesadüfleri Sever”. After starring in 2012 in Bahman Ghobadi’s “Gergedan Mevsimi”, where she also worked as the executive producer, she starred as the lead role in the films “Kurtuluş Son Durak”, “Kelebeğin Rüyası”, “Sadece Sen”, “Çalsın Sazlar”, “Annemin Yarası”, “Cebimdeki Yabancı” and “Rüzgâr”. In 2016, she brought to life the character of Yvette Ketabdar in Atiq Rahimi’s “Ports of Call” and starred together with Theo James and Ben Kingsley in the American movie “Backstabbing for Beginners” directed by Per Fly.
